Terms of service

Draft — pending legal review. This document was written to describe what the product actually does, and it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It is not yet a binding agreement and should not be relied on as one.
The agreement
By creating a household on Daily Mantel you agree to these terms. You must be 18 or older and be a parent or guardian of any children whose details you enter.
Your account
One household, one login, shared by your family. You are responsible for who you give the password to — anyone with it can see and change everything in your household. The parent PIN guards destructive and administrative actions inside the app; it is not a second account.
Plans and billing
- The Free plan is free, with no time limit and no advertising.
- Paid plans bill in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe. Yearly is priced at ten months.
- Cancel any time from Settings. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for, then reverts to Free.
- Downgrading re-locks paid features. It does not delete anything you have created.
- We do not refund partial periods by default, but if something went genuinely wrong, write to us — we would rather sort it out.
- Prices may change. Existing subscribers get notice before a change affects a renewal.
Fair use of AI
The Pro plan includes 100 AI actions per household per calendar month. The remaining count is shown in Settings. Beyond that, AI features pause until the month turns over; everything else keeps working.
Your content
What your family puts in is yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store it and show it back to you on your devices. Please only upload photos and audio you have the right to upload.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Daily Mantel to break the law, to store material that harms a child, to attack the service, or to resell it as your own. We may suspend a household that does.
Availability, and what we can’t promise
Daily Mantel is early software provided “as is”. We work to keep it up and your data intact, but we do not promise uninterrupted service, and you should not rely on it as the only record of anything that matters. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the previous twelve months.
Ending it
Delete your household whenever you like. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and will give notice and a chance to export where we reasonably can.
